Empty Container Handling

Empty containers are removed from the CPA yards to Incontrade Ltd as per requirement of the Shipping Lines (MLOs) and Freight Forwarders. Empty containers are also received from the Importers’ premises and other ICDs. Empty containers are also generated from unstuffing of Import FCL containers. Empty containers are surveyed at the entry gate of Incontrade to record exact condition of the containers. Empty Containers are stored in the IL Yard based on size, Shipping Line, and FIFO basis. Empty containers are either used for stuffing or shipped on vessels as per requirement of the Shipping Lines. Services on empty containers are on account of the Shipping Lines at agreed rates.

Import Container & Cargo Handling

To remove congestion from the Port Yards import stripping for delivery from the port is gradually being shifted to the ICDs. More and more Import items are being listed by the Customs Authority for handling in the ICDs. As per Import Manifest and where not mentioned as per desire of the Importers or the Shipping Lines such import FCL containers are transported by Incontrade’s own Trailers fitted with GPS based Vehicle Tracking device and Door protection plate to prevent any pilferage of cargo on the road.Sufficient workers are available from contractors for delivery of cargo. Fumigation, LMD and Tally services are also available. Services on import FCL containers are on account of the Importers at agreed rates.

Export Cargo & Container Handling

Freight Forwarders are allocated space in the CFSs. Shippers send their cargo with necessary documents for storage in the space of the Freight Forwarders. Export cargo is segregated as per invoice and packing list during storage. The floor is cent percent damp proof. Insurance coverage is there against cyclone and fire. Stuffing is done as per programme of the Freight Forwarders and affixed with Shipping Lines high security seal. Services on export containers are on account of the Shipper, Freight Forwarders and Shipping Lines at agreed rates.
